Rob leads Seladorís research and development team and oversees manufacturing at the Companyís Salt Lake City facility.

He was the recipient of a 2001 USITT Edward F. Kook grant to research the practicality of LED-based theatrical lighting for primary illumination, the results of which were published in USITT's quarterly journal (TD&T - Theatre Design & Technology), 2003 Fall edition. Incidentally, the recipient of USITT's 2005 Herbert D. Greggs Merit Award for Outstanding Article.  This research project led directly to Robís 2003 founding of Shine Lighting, LLC, parent company of Selador, with Novella Smith.

Rob holds both BA and MBA degrees from Brigham Young University. He is a member of USITT.
